what could it be?

I had to give back my 2010 grand caravan yesterday:thumbsdown: so I reinstalled the seats back into my old explorer :rolleyes: and now DD's frontier is very hard to tighten the straps :eek: I haven't reinstalled it yet, but what could it be? can a seat in installed TOO tight? it's dosen't move at all. compleatly rock solid

Did you have the harness buckled and tightened when you installed it? it is really easy for the splitter plate to get caught under the seat if there is any slack.

it was but not pulled tight. I think I'm just going to have take it out and see. I have to replace the harness with the new one Britax sent me
