I don't know what to do with this seat...

I'm not sure what to do with my Marathon. The base won't click into FF mode and is considered broken by Britax, so Mattie can't use it. I was considering making it Lilly's seat, but I noticed the other day that the harness is frayed about halfway through in the hip area. And the lock-offs don't seem to hold. The FF ones. So I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it for the baby until 33 pounds. I'd have to buy a new harness, which would have to wait till spring. Or if I should just trash the seat and leave her in her Titan. It makes me sad to think of trashing the seat when it has about 3 years left on it. We don't have room to store it. Our house is very small. So what would you do?

Does it click into RF mode? If not, the seat is trash.

The FF lockoffs not holding don't matter if it doesn't lock into FF mode, as the seat can't be used FFing.

Can you post a pic of the harness?

You can use the seat ff'ing in rf'ing mode up to 33lbs.

Also, do you have Swap Access here? You could do a wanted post for some harness straps for it. I sold a few pairs of my straps a year or so ago that I had extra.
