What changes were made to the MA when it went from 33 to 35 rfing?

Just curious what, if any, structural changes were made to make the MA go from 33 lbs rfing to 35 lbs? I'm staring at my 33 lb MA wishing it went at least to 35. Don't worry - I will not use it beyond the limits!! I just wonder what changed that they were able to up the limit. And, if no changes were made, why they didn't make changes retroactive? TIA

I don't know if any changes were made to the seat or not (or if we would know for sure), but I know that Britax is adamant that you can NOT use a 33 pound seat up to 35 pounds. They are so adamant about it, I suspect that they did change something.

My 33# seat has slippery, shiny Latch bars on the sides. My 35# one has a textured, less shiny finish on the Latch bars. That was the main difference I noticed when I got my new one.
