Look what I have just found coming soon.....

Looks cute and clever and like it would probably route the belt nicely. However, it doesn't look like it would accommodate older/bigger kids well, and those are the ones who need backless boosters.

I like them! Very cute and clever idea, but like Maedze said, they look a little narrow for a larger child.

My child, however, would probably fit in it until she is 16 :p

If it means a child who would otherwise travel with nothing, or be sent on field trips with nothing now uses some kind of belt positioning booster I'm probably okay with it. We all know there are lots of itty bitty older ones that would fit that thing really well.

I do wonder about those flip up belt guides though.. sure hope they're strong enough to withstand crash impact.

I saw this on Dragon's den. They thought it was terrible, and would never make it anywhere. Now, they regret that they missed out on it. You can probably find the videos online.

Oh I'm in love. I do wonder about width though. When my older dd goes to visit a very close aunt and uncle of mine (my kids call them Granny and Pappy), it's always a drama about forgetting to leave a seat...or leaving it and then having it and her bag. This would be the perfect solution, it if were wide enough. She can pack her changed of clothes and such in her booster!

ETA: If you look through the pics under the video, they have a pic of a kid, though it's not in a car, but the kid looks to be at least 10 and seems to have no width issues. It also shows a close up of the flip up arm rest thingies...look more sturdy than they do in the video.

I think they look awesome! And I bet they're cool enough that older kids wouldn't feel like "babies" using them!

:yeahthat:

What an AWESOME idea! I can only imagine how easy it would be for booster riders to travel by plane/train with. As well as kids who carpool and are in a different car daily.

The only drawback I can currently see is that the cover closes with a piece of Velcro. Unless it's the really strong type, I don't see it lasting longer than a year maybe.

That's what we would use them for in most cases, travel. We're flying next year and don't have room for huge boosters so this would be great for us.
