I was really worried about turning my 2 year old around rear facing, but I switched her back to RF about a month ago and she's done great! She hasn't complained at all, and now that she has a new car seat (mr) she will say "Wuv mine new seat! So me can be safe!" 
Well, I was in DH's car trying to get a car seat installed in there and she needed help getting her shoe back on. I sat her in the seat (forward facing) and she looked at me like I'd lost my mind and said "No me wike sit wike dis! Me wike backwards!"
