Pics of an older infant in the True Fit?

My younger DS is currently rfing in a True Fit. I'm not sure if I should add the extended top at this point. The seat is in the infant reclined position, and I don't think his head is technically above the red line, but I'm not sure. If anyone has comparison pics handy, that would be so helpful TIA!!

I'm on vacation right now so I don't have pics but we've always had to use the headrest on the seat because Caleb was over 22lbs when we bought it for our then 7 month old. If your child is over 22lbs you must use the headrest.

He's 11 months...bet. 18-19 lbs and 28 inches. So he has not outgrown the weight limit of not having the top.

Thank you for all the help so far :)

Thanks for all the helpful pics!!

It looks like my lo is still "ok" but I should probably pull out the top portion to pre-empt a growth spurt :)

Yeah  last time I measured him it was 14" and to the top of his head it was 21", and that was over a month ago. I'm hoping he starts to grow legs now!

My ds is 27months and 31-32" and his head goes to just under the yellow thing on the lable! I only put the headrest on a few months ago b/c I was tired of looking at it in my closet, He JUST hit 22lbs like a week ago

I know this isn't the greatest picture, because his head is to the side, but E is just a bit below the red line here. He needed the top because he was over 22 lbs.

Why not post your own kiddo's picture for members here to have a look? It's kind of going about your question in reverse to ask for other's photos instead of sharing your own for a look-see, KWIM? :)

We never had the option to not use the headrest. Austin was 20lbs at 4 months and we bought the tf when he was 5 months. It looks so cute w/out the headrest. :(

I agree! When we got the seat a few months ago, DS was 21.5 lbs and holding steady (he hasn't gained weight in a really long time) but I kept thinking he'd gain weight soon so I left the headrest on. But here we are, months later and he's STILL 21.5 lbs. Ugh, drives me crazy that he's right on the cusp because I don't like the look of the headrest on it for such tiny kids. BTW, my DS is 18 mos but he head is still at the border of the tan/black.
