Here are some pictures of the new Radian XTSL. The seat is the Eclipse (mesh) pattern. The mesh isn't rough but not soft like plush seats either. It is installed in a 2006 Toyota Sienna in the second row captain's chair using latch and tethered rear-facing. It wasn't the easiest install, but not horrible either.
The seat is for my 2 1/2 year-old (36 inches 33lbs). He is on the third slots from the bottom in the XTSL and has at least 5 inches of growing room to outgrow it by heighth (by comparison he had about 2 in his old Boulevard). My 5 year old (pictured below) is 45 inches tall with a 17 inch torso and has over an inch of growing room rear-facing in this seat (he just hit 45lbs and has thus outgrown it by weight).
My only complaint so far is the headwings don't go down far enough to be positioned as I would like for the 3rd slots. They are as far down as they will go in my pictures. The trade off, though is leg room. I can't believe the difference from our old Boulevard to the new Radian. There is plenty of leg room in this seat!
