My SIL is expecting twins and is due mid December ... her OB will induce her if she makes it to 38wks. He is guessing they will be about 6-7lbs if full term.
I am offering to purchase her infant seats (we live in Canada, so cold) because she is single and can't afford new seats on her own and I would rather her not borrow! Something easy to use/install, that will fit in her 4 dr sedan, and will last her a fair while as she can't afford to replace them or purchase convertables any time soon (in which case we may purchase those for her too).
She doesn't have a stroller that will accept carseats (very few do for 2 anyways).
I was thinking either the Snugride, SS1, SR32, or the Chicco Keyfit.
I know the keyfit will fit smaller babies better (which is good for twins who will likely be small), but the SRs will last longer (btw, would she even use them at the upper range anyway?).
WWYD?!?
Personally, if it were my children, I would either get the Keyfit or the Chaperone, but alas ... not my children and she may not appreciate the extra $$$ and "bells", kwim?!?
