Another what seat to buy question...

My DD is getting close to outgrowing her SS1 by height. She only uses the SS1 in my MIL's car. We have a RN65 and a Priori at home and an Avenue for my Mom's car (which I DESPISE installing). She is 20 months, 21 pounds, 27.5 inches. I want to get her a convertible seat that will last her until booster age, but that will also fit RF in a dodge Neon, outboard if possible. My MIL has some back and knee issues, and getting her in center position would be very diffficult for her. The seat would be installed by me only so that isn't an issue, but I would like a built in lock off if possible since she doesn't have LATCH in her car. Any suggestions? Would a MR65 or TFP fit RFing?

She is a little peanut!!

Too bad she is just at the weight when she needs the head rest on the TFP. But that seat may still be a very good choice for you, as it has the lock offs and it can be installed upright in tight backseats. My only caution is to try your LO in that seat. Due to her size, she may get "swallowed up" in a seat so wide.

I do love the MR, and since your DD is short/petite, she will likely last RF a very very long time in it. I think it has a good upright install as well, but I'm not sure about the lockoffs.

have you tried your radian in the neon and it is too reclined?

Sorry for the very late reply. I've had the flu all week.

Yes she is a peanut :) She was 2lbs 8 oz at birth so she's always been tiny. I went to BrUS and tried out a couple of seats with her. They didn't have the TFP but I tried the MR and EFTA. I really just need to steal MIL's car one day and go try it.

I did try my Radian in the neon and it needs to go in the center and even them the front seats are uncomfortably pushed forward and upright. Which stinks because I LOVE my Radian.
