Y just turned 4, has a 15 inch torso, is 40 inches and 45 lbs. I was playing around with my seats today, and decided to take comparison pics of her in all my different seats.

First up- Regent. Obviously has the most growing room. She is even with the 2nd from bottom slots.
*Chest clip is a little low, but we weren't going anywhere*

Next is the XT. This model only goes to 40 lbs rear facing, and she is 45, but just to show that she still has room in it. She would have made it with room to grow in the 45 lb model. She is above the 2nd from top slots.

Forward facing, just even or a tad bit above 2nd from top slots-

Last is the Marathon. She is on the top slots, with a lil to grow.
*Disclaimer- She should have HUGS on this seat when FF- but she wasn't actually using it, so they are off for my RFer.*

 Makes me wonder if I should get a Regent while they're still available.. A's torso is 14" and he's only 15 months.

*waves at the cow seat :) That is almost my Liddie's stats exactly, she weighs 43 lbs and is about the same height. She still fit in the MA with a bit of room to grow in torso height but complained that her shoulders were squished. She has a great deal more room in the TF (which made it here safely with a box that was really beat up. thanks :) Seeing her in the XT makes me seriously consider getting a RA to RF her. She begs to sit in the EFTA Rfing and often jumps in the suburban and buckles herself in RFing although she has not been RFing since 13 months old. Hmm, more to consider.

Boy I seriously wish I had a Regent to try out. The prices are great but I don't want to have to ship one back if it didn't fit in our vehicles.

I guess we don't need one. We do have two Frontiers plus GN & Radian's. I just waaaaant to try one. I want to see what harness slot my DD would be on.

You sound like me.. even though he's too young for it, I wonder if we will need something with harness heights like that. I tried him in an uptown today for fun, he was about 1" from the top slots :(

Exactly! And I know noone around here that has a Regent I could try in my vehicle. People in our town turn kiddos FF at age 1 and booster them at age 4. I don't think there is a Regent at all in our town. My mom thought DD was ready for a booster and she just turned 4 few months ago. Thankfully I got her the GN from Walmart for Grandmas car. I like that it says 65 lbs right on the harness pads and mom knows she's no where near that weight.
