I'm sick of washing covers!

Tuesday morning - I was putting DD in her RF MA to go to daycare. She threw up four times - EVERYWHERE - car, carseat, me, herself. So, I got her cleaned up, got the seat out of the car, washed the cover, cleaned the harness, etc.

Wednesday evening - DH had DD in car after doctors appt - she pee'd through her diaper (she's been drinking lots of juice due to a stomach virus). Again I have to wash another cover.

UGH! Thankfully we have 3 seats and an extra cover.

thankfully this hasn't been a problem for us... our kids have never thrown up in the car, or leaked through their diaper. we generally wash our seat covers only once every year or so.

our problem is more one of endless crumbs. within one week of our daughter sitting in her new recaro FF, the crack between the bottom and back was already full of bread crumbs!

LOL- I'm with you there...on our first big trip after the new Radian, we stopped at a rest stop, and for some reason we thought it would be a super idea to buy the kids a bottle of pop each :)eek: ). Of course the youngest dropped his, but big bro saved the day and grabbed it as it rolled back, passed it back up to the little guy...I think you can all imagine what happened next - I'm turning around and saying NOOOOOOO, but its too late, he's unscrewing the lid and pop is literally flying everywhere, in my face, on the windows, even on my husband who was driving - the van smelled like Root Beer forever, but thankfully the seat wasn't as bad as I feared, and hey I'd rather clean up root beer or crumbs any day than a leaky diaper...;)

Beware...if it's the same stomach virus that is rampaging thru here, it is very catching! It's making it's way thru our family, DH's work and DS#1's preschool. EVERYONE seems to be falling like flies. Sorry you had to clean up so much. On Sunday DS#1 threw up on me, two beds, the couch and the carpet...:(

Thanks everyone. Our doctor suggested the BRAT diet (do a google search) and so far it is working.

Although, daycare providers son, DH and I all are having stomach cramps now!
