turned 4.5yo ffing

My 4.5yo just reached the 33lb rfing weight limit on her Marathon, so I turned her ffing. (Big Sibling hit the same milestone at the same age, how eerie.) I know there are newer seats out there that could keep keep dc rfing longer, but I don't have readily available funds for them. Help me curb the guilt by saying she's fine and dandy ffing at her age and weight, please!

yes, keeping your LO ERF'd to 4.5YO means you've done well, mommy:thumbsup:. It's hard to turn them but get that seat tightly installed and top-tethered and she'll be fine, really.... certainly safer than the countless number of kids her age who are in boosters.

She is fine and dandy FF at 4.5 years old. My DS is 48 pounds and turns 4 years old in a few days!

You did great to ERF to age 4.5, don't lose sight and beat yourself up. Instead, give yourself a huge pat on the back for doing so for so long. :)

4 years is my minimum for FF. I think you did super great keeping her RF that long!

my goal is at least 4 and hopefully 5, so I'd say you did great:thumbsup: It would IMHO be a waste of $ to buy a new seat just to rf your LO at this age. I'd save and get the perfect hbb or hwh you want. Great job:)

Thanks for your replies. I really need this to work since it would be so hard to fund another seat right now. Dc's been in that MA since birth, and I'm hopeful will be in it until expiration.
