Disappearing Car Door

Oh my, that is a classicseat if I ever saw one. And harness lower than the top slots. Sigh. Anyway, I thought this was pretty old, and the tagline about what you choose to drive into the 21st century confused me when the date at the end said 2007??? I want to see some IIHS side impact testing on it... :D

Man, that's like that carseat I had....

I'd like to see more views of what actually HAPPENS to the door, if it folds slightly, or if it slips in one piece under the car.
If there is dirt and crud under the car will your door be all yucky?
What about snow build-up?
Will the vehicle move if the doors are open? If so, doesn't that mean you will bottom out on everything if some idiot drives off that way?

Design looks very flawed to me, and if it IS real, how come they couldn't afford to borrow a fancy child seat to show off their fancy invention with their fancy freaking cars with?

It's an old Fisher Price Bolster.

Not sure i like the door thing.. It's handy, but what if you need to hurry & escape from someone? Or what happens when it's raining? You're whole car interior will get soaked.

The whole time that I was watching it I kept getting the 1996-1997 vibe. I wonder if they re-edited it to add a newer copyright?
