Question Frontier 90 vs. Radian RXT

My 2.5 year old is currently riding rear facing in and Evenflo Symphony (which I hate), and I will be Savin up to replace this dreaded seat with something that will last him for a long time forward facing. He is of average height and weight, in the 50th percentile for both. I'm leaning towards...

    Vent Ugh, whyyy!?!

Why ask, and ask, and ask for car seat advice for so long, then pay the price for a Radian, and turn your one year old forward facing immediately!?! Then post a picture of her asleep in her Radian with her head rolled forward because she should still be rear-facing?!? Rant over. Ugh.

    Question Grandparent convertible seat

Ve recently been informed that my MIL wants to buy a car seat to have for her grandchild to keep in her car but that can also be used with and future grand babies. Any suggestion? I would be hoping for it to be VERY user friendly, easy install, and hopefully a harness that does not need...

    Airplane install

We will be flying with our 21 month old soon. We have an Evenflo Symphony LX. The user manual says is it FAA approved for use with the 5 point harness but it gives no information about installing it in an airplane. Do I install it forward facing? Also, if anyone has any other tips or info for...

Question Convertible seat and Jeep Patriot

I was hoping someone might be able to help me figure out what would be a good choice for a convertible car seat for my son. He is currently 21 months old, but at his 18 month visit, he was 25 lbs and 32 inches (mostly torso and short legs). He wears 24 month onsie undershirts. We currently have...

I have a friend moving to Germany with an infant (maybe 7 months?). As she is moving there on military orders, she was given the German car seat law, however if was very brief and not very easy to understand. The baby is currently using a Keyfit 30 and they have ordered a Radian RXT for when...

I don't know how you all do it.

I'm not a tech (although I read up on how to become one and I think I'm super interested in it as child safety is near and dear to my heart) but I just don't know how you all do it. All over the place I keep seeing car seats used wrong and it just breaks my heart. I see the most of it on...

    Vent Tech hated our seat

Today my husband and I took our convertible car seat to get safety checked by a tech and the tech was so condescending to us. His words, "I'm not a big fan of this seat." We purchased 20 pound 10 month old son and Evenflo Symphony e3 because he almost has just about outgrown his Cortina Keyfit...
