Question Guidelines on centering in position in seat

Asked this question yesterday but let me ask another way. Right now my center rf MA is about 1 inch off center relative to the seating position. In other words, it doesn't line up exactly with the headrest, and it's not centered between the latch anchors (which are not used for this seat...

    Question 3-across in a suzuki Sx4

Normal configuration is two riders: a 4.5 year old harnessed in a frontier 85, installed with latch; a 22 mos RF in a marathon 70, also latch. Both kids outboard. I'd like to keep these seats but have an alternate configuration to accommodate an occasional HBB in addition. The seat is pretty...

Question correct routing through loop tethers on F150 extended cab

Trying to install a FF Radian 80 SL passenger outboard. No matter from which angle I pull, I can't get the slack out of the tether when the tether is routed through the loop directly behind the seat and over to the middle loop. It's like the adjuster is too close to the seat and at an angle...

Question No matter what this lap-shoulder belt is twisted--is the latch plate reversed?

Background: DS complaining of no legroom in his frontier, installed passenger outboard in Dad's 2008 F150 extended cab; dad complaining that moving the passenger seat forward interferes with his visibility. Mom (me) to the rescue, plan being to swap in the more shallow radian using a...

Removing trim to RF tether in 2011 Ody voids warranty

According to the Honda dealership removing trim in order to tether a RF seat in the 2nd row is considered an alteration of the seat which would void the warranty. It is somewhat boggling that there is literally no suitable RF tether point for 2nd row seats in this van!

Question marathon classic RF with lap-shoulder belt, two nitty-gritty questions

I installed four seats tonight, including a Frontier 85 and a Radian, and I was feeling pretty full of myself until I got to this gosh darn MA classic. New seating position, first time using lap/shoulder belt on this seat. First question: I prefer to use the switchable ALR feature of the belt...

DS is 3.75 years old and petite at 33 lbs, 36.5." In sitter's van, currently FF in a MA70 which I want to pass down to DD. Sitter wants him to remain on the plus one seat if possible due to preschool drop-off logistics. Just came back from inventorying BRU. Considered the Frontier 90 but the...

Any hangups on a Triumph LX for occasional use RF in a '01 Ford Escape

This is Grammy's car. She transports two grand-daughters (11 and 13 mos respectively) only occasionally. I thought the Triumph Advance would be a good seat (esp. current Albee promo at $114) because you can adjust the harness height without an uninstall. Does it install well RF in an '01...
