Honda Pilot 3 SE 3 Car seats

Hi Mike, What seats are your kiddos using currently? What is the weight and height of your 3 year old and is he/she rear or forward facing? There are other seats that may be a better fit.

Car seat suggestion 2007 Santa Fe

Have you tried the E2Fs in the Santa Fe? E2Fs (not the All in 1) are pretty compact front to back. Check out the Car Seat Blog post for more options. https://carseatblog.com/22818/the-ultimate-rear-facing-convertible-space-comparison-review-size-matters/

5.5 yr old extended rear facing in Nuna Rava but what now..

Most (not all) seats are outgrown by height as opposed to weight. I would say it is common that once a convertible is outgrown rear facing, a child would still have room to forward face for a while longer.

5.5 yr old extended rear facing in Nuna Rava but what now..

When your child is forward facing, the harness straps will need to be at or above her shoulders. The general rule of thumb for forward facing is the tips of the child's ears should not go past the top of the shell. When a child is rear facing we are concerned that the child may slide up...

    2015 Chevy Tahoe THIRD row

I googled hip room and it said 49.3 inches. Looks like you have 3 tether anchors back there, but it will be very difficult. Who needs to ride back there (ages and weights) and who will be in the 2nd row?

Installation of car seats in conversion van.

Hi Lori, What year is the van? Do you have lap/shoulder belts or lap only belts in the back bench? Some seatbelts lock at the latchplate as opposed to the shoulder retractor.

Which car seat do we transition to next?

Hi Shayna, Check out the carseatblog post here: https://carseatblog.com/44670/you-asked-when-is-the-right-time-to-move-to-a-booster/ You will need to determine if they are booster ready. If you think it best to harness a while longer, then a combination seat would be the answer if they have...

3in1 or 4in1 portable with handle?

Good Morning Jesse, There are various types of car seats. Rear facing only (these usually have a seat that attaches to the base), convertible (converts rear face to forward facing) forward facing only (the Graco nautilus is this type) booster seats (can be high back, no back) and All in One...

OK to leave 2nd row seat folded while driving?

Do you have 2 or 3 seating in the 2nd row? If you have 3 seating can you try the center position with a seatbelt? The top of the car seat may fall between the two front seats giving some space. Also, I have found with some clients that the front passenger is too reclined. If that seat is...

    Display Car Seat

Our program had display seats donated. Some were labeled as such and others were not. I called the manufacturers and each one said they were NOT to be used in cars.. I can tell you the most if not all were missing components. We chose to use them for demonstration purposes at various tabling...

    Britax Frontier 85 SICT question

At 10.5 I would be very comfortable with a backless. You want to make sure whatever seat you get gives him hip room. A Graco Right Guide or Diono Solana are a couple backless boosters that both go to 120 pounds. The Go Fit only goes to 110 pounds.

    Experience with the Graco Atlas?

I rather like the Atlas. Pretty easy install, fits a wide range of kids. How heavy and tall is your kiddo? I believe that the Atlas has a weight limit of 45 pounds on the lower anchors, so if your child is at or above that size, you couldn't use them anyway. Installing with the seatbelt and...

    Graco Atlas or Tranzitions

What is his height and weight and what vehicle? Other carseats/booster seats on either side? Both are nice seats, The Trazitions has a snuglock version that may be easier to install. I haven't seen it IRL yet. The non-snuglock version can be a pain.
