Hbb for 8 year olds and 5 year olds

I’m looking for a spare booster that would work for both my kids friends, and potentially my 8 year old as some of his friends are bigger than him and would use his seat. We have the chicco hbb but the older one has outgrown it with the back on. Is there a booster that goes taller? I could take...

    booster w latch

Sorry- I tried a search and most posts were from 2006ish. Looking for a NBB for a tiny 8yo. Weight is about 45 lbs, not sure on height. Right now hes in a frontier in booster mode. He wants a nbb bc everyone else has one. Must have latch and cupholders. Nice padding ideal bc we do road...

Is this install okay? Frontier in booster mode

I'm concerned about the headrest. It isn't removable or adjustable as far as I have figured out. I can't find any info in the manual about space behind the seat. If it's not okay, are there any hbb that would work in that position? (If you can't see the picture let me know- I'm not sure I...

    Booster in q50

This thing has terrible seat belts. The stalk is imbedded in the seat. We have a frontier in it so but it is terrible to fasten. Other options are a pioneer or kidzip. The kidzip is brand new so we could return it and swap it for something else. Posted via Mobile Device

pioneer in booster mode belt slips

We recently switched my 6 yo to booster mode in our pioneer. Frankly, I hate it. You have to pull the belt out so far to get it clicked that the locking mechanism kicks in and half the time the belt gets stuck on the armrest and we have to wrench it out. Also, the shoulder belt slot opening...

Hbb/nbb w latch and lots of cushioning

My son is 6, right at 40 lbs, 45". He's a skinny little thing. We need a booster so he can ride with friends to camp this summer. He's harnessed in a pioneer and frontier, and will remain that way at least through the summer. It will end up being a long term seat when little brother takes over...

    Rf radian in newer Equinox

We're renting a Chevy Equinox and will be taking our rxt to put in it. Since it's a rental it should be fairly new, I'd guess 2015? Can I install the radian without the AA and still have room for us in the front seat? I'm trying to not have to bring it. We're driving a lot so we need to be...

travel booster for under 40lb 6 yo

DS is 6 yo, 37lbs roughly. He rides in a harness Pioneer in one car and harnessed Frontier in the other. He will continue to ride in these at home until who knows when, but we're not in a hurry to switch him. We're going on a plane in a couple of months and would like to only drag one seat on...

argos or pioneer or something else?

DS is almost 5, 36lbs, 40". Currently in ff radian and harnessed frontier. About 1" left above his shoulders to top strap. We would like to keep him harnessed until 6 at least. Obviously with his weight booster isn't even an option yet anyway. We also have a boulevard clicktight and keyfit...

    Booster help

I have a 4 month old in a chicco key fit that he hates. I'm considering switching him to a boulevard in my car and leave the chicco in my husbands car. The britax is not in use right now. I have a son that will be 5 in April but is only 36 lbs. he's in a radian ff in my car and frontier in my...

absolute minimums for booster emergency/temp use only

What is the bare minimum you would put a child in a booster? Reasons being (for example): to and from airport at destination but without any further driving, emergency seat left at daycare? Having a difference of opinions within the family and wanted some outside opinions.

    complains harness is too tight

I did search first :-) My 3yo is RF in a Radian. He has been complaining recently that the harness is too tight, even before I tighten it sometimes. So obviously it's not, at least most of the time. I pretend to loosen it, which used to work but doesn't now. Now he screams hysterically for...

    Radian safe stop on plane?

I cannot figure out when to use this thing. I've got FF over 20 less than 40. Always with LATCH and lap belt (yes?), what about with belt with shoulder strap? I kind of didn't bother looking into it since we're ERF but we're flying tomorrow and I'm FF on the plane (no car when we get there so...

    folding radian- tether

Okay I finally folded the Radian but I can't get the tether to stick in its spot. If I leave it I have the huge buckle on my back. It doesn't appear that the bottom part is very adjustable so... ??? I got the top clicked on it's bar, it's just the straps and buckle I can't figure out. Also if...

Tips for installation in Dodge Caravan

We picked up our rental yesterday and have a Dodge Caravan. We have a Radian and a Boulevard to choose from for my DS. We have 4 adults, 2 of which are pretty big, and we just cannot make this work. Currently the Radian is RF behind the driver, but it really puts the driver far up. We can't...
