    We've officially outgrown the KeyFit =(

    There's now less than 1" of shell over his head. I brought my baby home from the hospital in this seat! I know he hated it, but I loved it and its redness. And not that I ever want an infant bucket again, but knowing that Chicco has discontinued the Fuego line makes me sad, too.

    Non slip mats vs. Britax base?

    If rubberized mats can disguise a loose install, can't the rubberized Britax bases do the same? How can I confidently tell if a Britax convertible is properly installed?

    I keep reading that you're not allowed to use the seatbelt in locking mode with the KeyFit base, but I noticed today that the manual says that it's optional to put it in locking mode after installation. It's only in the overview section. There is no mention of this last step in the seatbelt...
