Way back over a year ago I wrote about the trouble I was having in getting SGI to replace a car seat that was in an accident. You had replied then (thanks!) and mentioned that you were going to revisit an issue with SGI as well.
Well, we hit a brick wall and dropped the issue last year. But now that our second child is approaching the height/weight to grow out of her safeseat, I was thinking of starting complaining again to see if we get anywhere - along the lines of "if the seat is OK like you said it was, we would like you to officially assume liability in case of failure in a future crash, since we'd like to use it for our second."
Did you ever go back with your issues and get anywhere? If so, any hints?
