  • Thanks, Wendy! I think I meant to say that the NHTSA ease of use ratings are high (and, I guess, thereby more likely to be safe).
In your experience, do you think the extra 5 lbs RF from the Boulevard or the 10 lbs RF from the Radian will make a significant difference if, as many people seem to say, the height limit will be reached first? In other words, do we really have any other options for RF longer? Thank you again for your time!
There are no safety ratings, so not sure what you were looking at. But both the Radian and True Fit are two of my favorites.

Of the two, the True Fit will probably fit better in your car. I don't know yet about the new Boulevards.

I'd ask in carseat chat if anyone in the Chicago area knows of a place to try out the seats, or has personal seats you can try.

My only concern with the True Fit is that it has a 35 pound rear facing weight limit. And at 23 pounds at 11 months, you may run into the weight limit before you're ready to turn her forward. I'm seeing successful Radian installs in a 2000 and 2002 Outback, but I think those are different from the 2009 model.

I'd try all of them out, they're all great seats.
