Where / How to find safety ratings for older vans ?

Our family is *hoping* to look at purchasing a used van in the spring. Likely a pipe dream, but I'd like to know where and how to find out safety ratings - if there are particular years / makes / models to avoid - things like that.

When was LATCH implemented in Canada - was that in 2001 ?

The NHTSA and IIHS both have detailes on older models, though tests like the side impact only go back a few years or so for many vehicles. You may have to dig around the sites a bit to find the earlier years, but the data is still there.

Throughout most of the 90s, the Windstar was by far the best choice for safety, at least until the Sienna and Odyssey debuted.

In the USA, the Windstar got LATCH in 2000, a bit earlier than most models. I assume that was the same in Canada, but I'm not positive.

I *think* Latch was implemented in 2002. My car is a 2000 and doesn't have it, and DH's car is a 2003 and does.

I also would like a van somehtime next year, but I don't think I want one that has the gen3 seat belts (after the Kyle video). That affected dodge/crysler til 2003 right? when did they start making gen3 seat belts?
