I'm really sad to hear about this last trade experience This person received two sets of UPCs without giving up squat. (WITW??)

I feel like if a person posts something for trade, then the other person (tradee) who responds to the original post should not send his/her products until she/he is in receipt of the poster's items.

Please make sure to use iTrader to leave negative feedback if the issue is not resolved and advise the other person in the similar situation to do the same. Also, consider using the "Report Private Message" icon at the top right of the most recent private message so I have a record for future reference and have the other person do the same also. This way, if it becomes a pattern of behavior, the swap moderators have a record to discuss a ban from swap. Though it may not apply in this case, any ruling from Paypal or a third party can be sent to webmaster@car-seat.org as well. On behalf of fair trading in Swap, I hope this issue and any other outstanding issues are resolved soon.

I am having a problem with koda&phiasmama. I really didn't want to have to post this publicly, but I feel like I have been more than patient and I don't know what else to do.

We agreed to a trade 9/14/12--her used Frontier 85 for my full set of upcs to get a Britax Boulevard. I sent my end of the trade, and koda&phiasmoma let me know 9/18/12 that she had received them, then koda&phiasmoma notified me 9/26/12 that shipping the Frontier was more expensive than she realized and she wouldn't be able to ship it until the next payday (2 weeks later) unless I was willing to split shipping or she would be happy to send my upcs back. I said I'm sure we can figure something out--how much did they quote you for shipping?,

10/1/2012 I still hadn't heard back from her so I sent another message asking her to just send the upcs back....

10/2/2012 she said, "I'll get them in the mail this week."

10/22/2012 I asked for an updated...no response

10/31/2012 They still hadn't come, so I messaged her again letting her know that this was the last time I would be contacting her before escalating this.

10/31/2012 she said "I will throw them in the mail in the morning no matter what and ill message you as soon as I do."

As of today, I still haven't received the upcs or any further messages

Can somebody help me? I know she has had a lot going on with a move and hurricane Sandy, and other life changes and I totally understand that. I just want to get my upcs back and move on.

Ok I'm here I wasn't aware of this thread and just for the record I haven't heard from you since 10/23 I sent them out and they were returned I obviously messed up the address and I messaged you never heard back I've been busy they are seriously sitting in an envelope in my diaper bag, and to be clear it isn't the whole set of UPCs and I'm certainly not going to run off with someone's free seat and then post here like a maniac!

As for selling the frontier there was an issue with that sale because the buyer asked me to ship to another address that wasn't listed in PayPal and the transaction was not "eligible for seller protection" I was put off and she was already nervous because this person messaged her saying I was keeping her UPCs so we agreed to cancel things and she was refunded! Clearly there was no issue there considering she's not over here complaining ?

I don't know if my messages don't always function properly but I have received nothing from you recently and have just been distracted with life, ill admit I'm unorganized and I forget things it's no excuse, please send me your address so we can settle this !

Just wanted to post a tip, I won't doubt your story, I don't know you And I know sometimes things happen that are a, what's that phrase? Cataclysm of errors? Comedy of errors! That's what I'm looking for. Stuff happens. What you said is very possible. However, in that case, and in the future, as the seller it is not one sided. You did hear from the other party asking for an update at some point, whether last contac was 10/23 or 10/31, so should have sent her an update if what you said was going to happen...didn't.

For the future and in case it's not already known:

The PM gives you the option to "Request a read receipt for this message" but you have to click it everytime. There are also three other options by default, one is "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder."

With those two options there should be proof of sent or recieved messages.

We got the issue resolved. It seems like maybe there were some issues with the usps and PMs that didn't go through.

I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt

But I bought a rittenhouse SafeSeat so she could buy the cover. I sent her the cover and she was supposed to send me Disney world items for my trip. She did not send them so I have been asking for Paypal for almost a year now. I figure I'm out my $60 but I keep trying.

Oh she ignores all messages from me even though I know she's on here and I send them read receipt

I kept thinking she would pay and I was an isolated transaction gone wrong, but I will do so tomorrow on a real computer.

I bought a seat from a mama and paid for it on oct 1st. The seller said she would mail Thursday the 3rd. She never sent DC so I sent her a pm on the 8th just to touch base and never heard back. Ive sent 2 more pm's and I still haven't heard from her, even though I've seen her online a couple of times. I understand if things came up and she couldn't mail but let me know already. How long do I wait? What else can I do?

I'm sorry you had a bad experience We're not all this way! I've done many transactions and sold many things on here and all have gone great!
