Also, when I click on "full desktop site," it takes me there, but with the default forum skin, not Nightshift, even though I have that selected in my User CP and had it selected at the bottom of the page.

Unfortunately I do not know how to fix this one. It's a static link to the default desktop style. I'm not sure how to code it to make it go to the preferred style:-( You'll have to reselect, but once you've followed the procedure and disabled the auto mobile detector, it should not revert you to the mobile style after you've selected another one an a device. I looked at the code and it completely bypasses the mobile detection code as long as you are logged in and have that setting to YES=disable

I don't mind default style (non-mobile) on my phone. It's more the continual redirecting to mobile that's annoying. I definitely have it set to "yes," and it's still redirecting to mobile. :(

Weird. If you are logged in and have followed the steps on each device then I have no explanation why it would continue to show the mobile style at all unless you manually selected it:-(

Ipads are excluded from the mobile style selector previously, but iPhones would require this. I'll try it from DW's phone when I can to test.

Yeah, iPad is fine.

Of note: if I'm on my phone, it defaults to mobile. I select the full site, and it's fine for a while. If I go use other apps and come back and open CSO again, it gives me the full site.

But if it's been a while and/or I've closed Safari (like swiped it closed), and then go back into safari and go to CSO, it defaults to mobile again.

I'm signed in this whole time--I'm never signed out unless I do so intentionally.

I'm having issues with tapatalk crashing when I'm trying to insert a picture. I've restarted pgone, cleared cash, still crashing

If you see this expect mistakes. Responding from the app.

I am gone for a few days but I will look into this when I return. Perhaps someone else can help you before then.

Are you on iOS or Android?

Also, you have to make sure the picture is relatively small size if you are uploading directly to the forum. This does not apply if it is hosted elsewhere like Google or photobucket or flickr.

Android. I've tried reinstalling app, taking a screen shot of the picture (easy way to make the picture smaller). But still nothing. I didn't have problems on my old phone, maybe it's a lollipop thing. I'll try from my old phone and see if it works.

Okay, apparently I had downloaded a different version if tapatalk on my new phone that no longer supported pictures. It's working now with the correct one.

This was my issue too..... Sorry I didn't see this until now. I like the other version better. I am not a fan of this new one at all!

Such issues should be expected when using BETA software and our recommendation would be to use only recommended / published versions from the app store in a live situation.
BETA testers should be aware that the software is not public release and to expect the odd hiccup!

You may also find it is the local cache on your device. Visiting "Settings >> Clear Cache", force close / re-open; and login / logout of the app can all sometimes expedite the cache clearing on your device locally if this is the cause of the issue.

I hope this might be of help to someone with these issues!

Tapatalk on the forum server was just updated to resolve some bugs. If you notice any issues, please report them here.

Also, the iPhone and Android apps were also updated within the last week.
