So I just got my Clek Fllo today. It is even harder and more uncomfortable looking than I even expected it to be. I don't know if I should keep it or not. I put my baby in it and he didn't complain but I'm just not sure what to do. I really wanted to LOVE this seat. Can anyone put my mind at ease? We take road trips often and comfort is important, I do NOT want 3 hours of a screaming baby. I'm thinking of returning it for the Peg but I just love all the safety and features of this seat. Feeling very confused right now. :(

I don't have the fllo, but have the Foonf, and no complaints here! We frequently do 6 hour drives, and this summer did a road trip that involved ten days of eight hour drives, and no complaints, she loves it (other then not being pink, lol). She had a softer feeling seat that the foonf replaced, but she doesn't seem to miss the softness.

Thanks! That's what everyone keeps saying so I'm going to trust and keep it. The back is a little bit cushier and when rear facing that's where most of their weight is. I hope my babe likes it! :)

The thing about the Foonf and Fllo is that it's firm, but not hard. Some seats have kind of a soft cover, but when I press on them,I can feel the hard plastic backing underneath. That has to get uncomfortable and is not a problem with the Clek seats. It's a firm cushion, but a real cushion if that makes sense.

I have taken my Foonf on several 8 -10 hr road trips with no complaints. My DD also will cram herself into the Coccoro that I have been using with DD2 while I figure out a next seat and ride with her knees in her face and not complain. I don't think kids have the same concept of what's supposed to be comfortable unless it's real pain and the Fllo is not going to cause that!

What she doesn't like is being low and only seeing the seat back in front of her and feeling trapped. The Foonf lets the kids see out the window and is relatively open while still being protective and having real sides for SIP.

My 15 month old DD loves her Fllo and will fall asleep in it fast when given the opportunity. She also likes that she can see out the windows!

Not sure if this is relevant, but my son finds the Olli very confortable and he is the first to tell me if a seat is too hard (he has zero natural padding) - we just did two 7 hour road trips and he loved it. He likes the Olli better than his Parkway which is also very soft. I agree with the poster that says Cleks are firm but not hard, and there is a lot of give.

Used Foonfs and a Fllo on a 24 hour flight and the kids loved the seats. Other than the weight, I loved them also.

our 3yo (now that she can tell me) hates it because her bum hurts after 45mins straight drive. We love to go for a long drive. Now we dont know what to do. its such an expensive carseat. Its all about safety for this carseat. No comfortability at all. I wouldnt recommend it if you love to go for a long drive. Not at all.

My almost 4 year old has complained his bum hurts in the seat since he was around 2, of we are on drives over an hour. Even then it can be an issue some days. I feel terrible, I'm sure he's more sensitive than my older boy, I imagine some kids don't mind but it's hard to say which ones will be bothered.🙁
