Ds1 is close to outgrowing the harness on the Nautilus in Nana's vehicle. She drives a Honda Pilot, I think it is a 2012. I was thinking I would convert it to booster mode by June after his 6th birthday. Then I remembered that the Boulevard that she is using when she drives Ds2 expires at the end of August.
So DS2 will need to move to the Nautilus and Ds1 will need a booster. What booster generally fits well in a Honda Pilot outboard in the second row? Ds1 will most likely be 48" by then and 45 or 46 lbs.
I want a tall booster as DS2 is still 97% or higher and will most likely use the booster in a few years.
I have also debated finding a Frontier 90 on sale so either child could use it. It looks easy to convert from harness to booster mode and Nana could install with clicktight herself. She has issues installing the nautilus tight enough using the seatbelt with her leather seats and cannot do the latch clips herself so I have to do the install and removal when needed.
So what is my best bet? I have a few months to decide, but Ds1 has been growing like crazy this year. His torso has gotten so much longer and legs as well. It's like he is playing catchup because last year he didn't grow much!
