Question Help!!! Newborns less than 6 months apart need stroller and seats

I have a friend who is doing a foster/adopt to a preemie and is having a baby herself in less than 6 months. They need 2 car seats and a double stroller for the smallest amount of $possible. Obviously they need a good seat for preemies. I thought of the Evenflo embrace 35, but I don't know about the stroller.... Any ideas??????

I think the cheapest double stroller would be a snap'n go, or the Contour.

If britax has a Free ride event soon, a b-ready + b-safe could be a great deal.

Tell her to also set up a registry on Amazon and after having the registry for two weeks or two weeks after due date (sorry, been a while can't remember specifics on that part) they will give a 10% discount for registry items. That's how I got my B Ready and second seat.

There is still an onboard air in the hot deals section on the safety first web site. And then have her watch the FB groups/craigslist for the snap an go or contours. (There is a thread in the stroller section that talks about how to make the ob air work with the double snap and go.)

Or the Britax free ride thing would be a bad thing either as its a nicer stroller.

Snugride Click Connects fit preemies terrifically, and their double strollers don't cost much compared to fancier strollers, but if she can find a double snap n go used, she needs to grab it, it's by far the cheapest easiest way to lug wee ones.

I second this. Or she might consider the Classic Connect line. The SnugRide 30 fits preemies well and the Classic Connect line will fit in their DuoGlide stroller. She could get her stroller on Craigslist or at a consignment store to save money.

I used a DuoGlide and 2 SnugRide 22's with my twins (now 6) and it was great. It was nice to be able to put their car seats in to the stroller when they were small and as they grew I still had a stroller I could use. With her 2 being 6 months apart I think she will need the option of car seat or stroller seat because for a while there will be a significant difference in development and she will need the flexibility.

Check your Burlington coat factory! One of mine has cortina togethers for not bad plus a bunch of other strollers and travel systems.

Thank you all for your help!!!

I did find a contours for her at their local consignment store. She only place she can shop for seats is walmart or target (and the target in her area is not well stocked) She might be able to do amazon. She's hoping baby gets to come home in the next day or two, then they are still working on custody issues. Her baby isn't due for another 5.5 months.
