Amy, not sure if you know, but you can print labels from PayPal without having a payment/goods payment, using paypal.com/shipnow. Then you get the cheaper PayPal rates. Of course you need a printer and you have to go the PO to drop it off after.

Actually, just checked the MEC site...they have he weight of their items listed so was able to figure it out. Will round up a smidge to allow for the packing materials.
