I installed* the seat with the belt for now because I was pretty sure Honda say No to borrowing outboard LATCH for center position, but I thought I'd double check before I show Dad how to reinstall on his own.
*Babe came early, so I was helping out.
Good call on using the seatbelt for installing in the center. There's no dedicated set of LATCH for the center, and Honda says nay to borrowing the innermost outboard lower anchors to install in the center in 2001-2013 Accord models.
Or any Accord.
I haven't been a fan of the LATCH anchors in ANY of the Hondas in my family. The Pilot's anchors are the best of the group of Hondas my family has, but the anchors in the other Hondas we have are not on my list of easy to use.
