What is the verdict on the Size4Me/MySize 70?

We are now looking into getting an extra seat that could be used for either of the kids if necessary. I love the idea of the S4M, but am worried about the potential harness/buckle problems. How has the seat been working out for any of you who regularly use one? Is the harness any easier to adjust when FF?

Anyone? You have to have SOME thoughts on how this seat is performing...RF and FF comments are welcome! Particularly on how the harness adjuster is working out.

Harness can be hard to adjust, I've read, and the crotch strap is really short/shallow.
Otherwise, easy to install and adjust, and good for 3-across.

I still really like ours! We've had it since June, and while it's definitely not the easiest harness to tighten I haven't found it to be a reason not to like the seat. I don't adjust it each time though...I just 'chicken wing' him in and out. The buckle kinda stinks, but it's the same one as on other Graco seats. So far it has never gotten stuck.

DS2 is 2yrs, 28lbs, 36inches and fits nicely in it. I also tried him in a Pria which did have more leg room, but he has never complained of being uncomfortable in the S4M and he is very verbal so he would say something if he was. He looks just fine in it...he either bends his knees or stretches his legs up the seat back.

I love the head wings and deep sides. I am big on SIP since my van is older and has no side airbags, and he rides outboard. He sleeps wonderfully in it as well. I like how tall it adjusts and that it is narrow as well.

I've never had it installed FF long enough to try out the harness adjuster that way so I am no help there.

Me too to all this, We've only had it a few days, only used it RF. Less leg room than TFP, Airprotect, and classic marathon (because of seat shape), no ones complained, installed well in my slanted seats, they look "safe" and comfy, i like deep shells. When i look back it reminds me of their infant seats, very encompassing. Harness is OK, no Britax or Recaro thats for sure, buckle is shallow, my son once mentioned it hurting but seamed to work it out since, who knows. buckle just seams to require a angle of push, not stick per say, yet. I like it a lot as a good ERF back up, should get my kids to 5 RF in a pinch as long as they can figure out what to do with their legs. I will say that my hunt is still going, it feels like a rely good back up seat, but not "the one". I keep putting my 3.5y old in the safety first (that I hate) still and my 1.5 in the size4me.

See my kid has loads more leg room in the s4me than the classic marathon. Like, the difference between bent knees and not really bent knees. When he rode in a MA in my car, he crossed his legs. In the s4me he keeps them outstretched and crossed at the ankles, lol. But I can't tighten the harness. DH has to hold the seat with one hand and strong arm it in the other. The combination of the difficult harness and how high his truck sits up makes it so I can't do it. It tightens to a certain point and just stops. But only with a kid in it. We've had it replaced by Graco twice and tried all the tricks...it's just the way it is. If you can leave the harness the same length and not have to tighten it, it would be ok.

I hope they fix the buckle issue before DD outgrows the BLVD...I want one.

Are you talking short crotch strap or difficult buckle?

The difficult buckle is really hit or miss. My current Graco buckle is just fine. It has never been stuck or difficult to open.

The difficult buckle. I just keep reading how it's fine the one day, and the next day they practically need the jaws of life to get the kid out....

The quality seems inconsistent for sure. I have been using my MyRide daily for about a year now with absolutely no issues. I don't know if that makes you feel better. :p

We had this experience with 3 different ones. For us we couldn't use the seat because the point where it stopped tightening was too lose. Tried all the tricks too and it just did not work.

I played with one in Target for the first time yesterday. I wasn't as overjoyed with it as I would like to be. The buckle was pretty stiff and the difference in padding between it and the Marathon that was next to it was pretty big. For the price I feel like it should be better padded. I do really like the LATCH clips, the one at Target had the premium push on clips. I was tempted to try one for DD, I'm bored with the Radian, but I'm afraid it will be too hard to get her in since the sides are higher and the whole seat sits higher too and I don't want to end up with a seat that has a difficult buckle. I would LOVE to try the Foonf, but I want the black shell and pink cover which hasn't been released yet and I'd have to drive 1.5 hrs to see it.
