Question Is this possible?

My 6 year old girl that wears a size 7 in Carter's clothing still fits in the BLVD 70 with it adjusted to the top setting.

My 5.5 year old son, wearing 5-6 shirts, fits with a good bit of room to grow in the BLVD70. I think they have a ridiculous bad rep for being "short".

Well, if I remember right, the biggest gripe is that they do not fit kids rear facing nearly as long as other seats for smaller price tags, but that they are still decent height for forward facers.

I totally get that, but I think mostly it is overblown. Most seats with taller shells (like the Complete Air, Pria, EFTA, Foonf) have manufacturer mandated overall height restrictions. And the True Fit only has a 35 lb weight rating. And even the Radian is, I think, only 1" taller which is not *that* much more time if your kid is super torso kid and outgrows the Britax very young. It just seems ridiculous the vehemence with which it is implied here that the Britax is soooooo short. Now, I could easily knock the Britax for having no leg room and being annoying to buckle because of that, but I think for all but the hardest core ERF to 5 crowd, the Britax is a great seat. I expect my little one to make it close to 4 (if I can jam her legs in LOL) and she is 80+% in height. My first, who had a enormous head and torso, would have fit past 3.

Yeah, my 50th percentile dd will easily make it past 3. She's around 25th percentile for weight so the True Fit will last her longer. I do think the legroom causes a lot of people to turn their kids before its outgrown though. I think their ease of use really does make a huge difference in keeping kids safe while rf.

Interesting! So far, in mostly Carter's stuff, they seem to be running about the same between boys and girls. But I have noticed that Target shirts seem to run really small for girls.

Lol I buy 99% off DDs stuff at Target, Circo brand.. Its cheap and almost everything gets ruined anyway lol! She's in a 4T because she's a solid, stocky kid but same thing as a PP said smaller size in a boys shirt same brand. They make the girls stuff so small! Even in Carter's though she was wearing 24 months just after she turned 1!
