Maclaren stroller hinge covers?

Is it still possible to get Maclaren hinge covers? Since Maclaren USA is bankrupt, all of the links regarding the recall are dead.

Yep- I just discovered there were (are) quite a few lawsuits in the UK against them also. Although there is a larger following there so maybe that's why they've stayed in business there.

That's exactly why I need them.

I never used the covers. I have a brand new pair *somewhere* in this house this though!! I thought it would be easier to order them than to tear apart DD's closet!!!

They told me to send an email to this address customercare@maclarenbaby.com with a picture of the stroller showing the hinge cover and your shipping address.

I just have to go out to the garage and get a photo of our hinges.

I don't know how I ended up hitting all the dead ends when trying to get in touch with Maclaren. Every recall link I tried was dead and I even emailed Maclaren yesterday and the email got bounced back this morning.

Instead of going out in the cold to take a new picture. I sent an old one of a cute kid covered in sand in Hawaii, that showed the hinge.

An article I read yesterday said the bed PR combines with several pending lawsuits from families of children missing fingers caused them to go bankrupt.

What's interesting is-according to an article I read yesterday, apparently Maclaren only recalled the strollers in the US and not in the UK where they are hugely popular. They article was titled something like, "Why are American Babies More Important Than British Babies?"
I'm not sure if after that article was written they were recalled in the UK and elsewhere.

I'm off to the airport or I would attempt to find and link it.
