Britax Vigour Stroller

Does anyone know anything about this stroller? A friend of mine is asking about it and I've never even heard of it, lol, so I certainly don't know anything about it. She is looking into buying a stroller, but wants something tall enough for her husband (6'2) to push without kicking the back. If you have any recommendations for her, that would be great too! Thanks!

Re: Britax Vigour Stroller

Wow, I moved it. Yay, me.
Anyway, it's not out yet, so no one knows anything about it. www.strollerqueen.com has the best reviews, but she has a thing against the Britax people and never reviews their strollers :P. The Rock Star Baby gets awesome reviews, and if I were spending that much, I'd spend just a little more for a proven product with good resale value, you know?
I ordered a Britax Verve, though... I hope I get it for christmas (I need something tiny i can shove behind the rearfacing seat in my van, I hope it's nice to push!)

Car seats. But no worries, I'm just so thrilled I was able to do a 'mod' thing, lol.

Re: Britax Vigour Stroller

Hey Sam,
I know your friend is interested in the Britax, but I did hear some bad reviews on it on the internet, and also on StrollerSwap. Well, that doesn't mean anything, because I have heard bad reviews on the strollers I thought were awesome.

I just wanted to let you know I have always had a problem kicking strollers. I am between 5'9" and 5'10" and never ever kick my Peg Perego P3 or my Maclaren. My husband is also 5'10" and loves the Mac and Peg.

Also, my sister's boyfriend is 6'2" without shoes one and pushes our Maclaren WITH cowboy boots on and has never kicked the back. So maybe a Mac would work for them... HTH!!

Where did the people who wrote the reviews get to use the new Britax strollers? I am jealous! I want to see them in person!

One of them I read a review about has already been out in the stores. I can't remember which one it was, but it wasn't *that* expensive.

I was going to look into buying a Britax stroller when I was shopping for a used Peg, but after reading the reviews I decided to steer clear(no pun intended LOL) of them.

I did read a review once that said something like, "Britax should just stick to making what they are good at....carseats!"

Re: Britax Vigour Stroller

I was thinking about buying a Britax Preview stroller a few months ago, but when I researched it I found some terrible reviews! I hope the new Britax strollers are better!

Probably strollerqueen said that. Yeah, the first batch of strollers they attempted were incredibly lame...I'm really hoping the new ones are better. I did read one little review somewhere that said bugaboo-like strollers are sometimes 'sluggish', but I don't know which one they were referring to, hopefully not the vigour!

Yeah, I would really LOVE to test drive the New Britax's. Do you think BRU will carry them?
