What are they? And, how do I give them? I noticed comments and points from other members given to me  - I just have no about what it all means... and, I've received so much help from members here - I'd like to give them credit for it too.

You can only give rep in the other forums, not the community chat forums. The way you give someone else rep is by clicking on the scales in the top right hand corner of their post (it only shows up in the other forums too).

The reputation system is mostly used for fun at this point, though the intention was originally to reward members for well-written and informational posts on child passenger safety topics.
