Fisher Price Stand N' Ride in stock at Babies R Us

I'm so excited, my local Babies R Us has this stroller in stock. It looks perfect I can't wait to go try it out. It's had issues, coming out in June I think and being immediately recalled, but the design looks so practical, I hope it's quality is good when I see it in person.

That looks really cool! I LOVE the expandable storage. I just wish it 1)had a 5 point harness, 2)would accept a Keyfit!

Thumbs up

Oh, my gosh! That's awesome. That would be almost perfect for Europe (just needs larger, air-filled wheels for the cobbled streets).

I went to BRU last night test drive. That is the only double stroller I did not test drive. IT IS HUGE!! I test drove the joovy which seemed more "metal like" and the FP sit and stands seemed more "Plasticky". It did not look easy to manuveor through tight spaces. I am wondering how compactly it folds up also. We didn't have time to get to that one, so I am going back in a couple of days. I will be interested to see what you think of it. Hope it works for you!!! I think you will be surprised at how BIG (long and wide) it is.

Well, I saw this stroller in person and don't like it as well as I had hoped. It was reasonable to drive and both girls were comfortable. Two issues: the expandable storage basket doesn't slide open, it has to be snaped into place like a regular stroller basket and it keeps it's front to back length when folded. It would be really hard to take in and out of (or fit into) a car because of it's large folded size.

I agree with you. I saw this stroller today for the first time (I didn't think they would have it in Canada) and it is huge. I didn't think it would fit in my trunk and I also didn't find it the easiest to drive. I love the concept of the stroller but I think it could have been designed a little better!

LOL -- my exact thoughts when I saw it

I'm also getting a humorous smile about emphasis with US strollers on Cup holders for Parents (and the kids). However did we ever manage before cup holders?

Can't help but laugh at memories. Sorry, but it was an ongoing joke with dh and I on how our German cars NEVER had a cup holder... nor did our umpteen strollers. For 7 years we got by with neither. (I always used a water bottle + a sippy cup stuffed down in the side of the basket or the attached stroller bag).
Although juggling drive-throughs could get very interesting.
