Need small folding stroller for big kid

I had a van so I did not worry about stroller size before, but now I only have a chevy silverado ext cab truck. I have been keeping an umbrella stroller in it, and packing the jog stroller or graco when I knew I would definatley need it, but if I have company or if it might rain - I have a problem. Well a few weeks ago someone stole my umbrella stroller from the merry go round. Honestly, I could not afford to replace it, then I figured out how much my son relied on it. He has sensory issues, and is possible autism spectrum, and the stroller means alot to him. Unless I want to carry my squirmy 35# boy, I need something. I am thinking about cleaning the basement to raise funds for the "right" stroller. Anyway when I tried out strollers at walmart/target little man is technically too tall for an umbrella, I just hate the way they slump in one anyway, and I noticed all the strollers went to 40# (except 1 which only went to 30). Anyone have any suggustions for a tight folding, higher weight, stroller for my guy? (I use to have a great coach rider that might have worked, but lost it in the divorce.)

Check Craig's List and the Stroller Swap list on yahoo for a Maclaren Quest. New they run around $200, but they're totally worth it and are rated to 50 lbs or so. Used you can probably get a good deal.

Ebay has some great deals - now for a good basement cleaning, I think that I will let go of the baby things finally.

I have a Chicco Tuscany (I think that's the model). But it's a folding umbrella stroller with nice canopy and a reclining back seat, with a 5pte harness. I don't recall what the weight limit is, but I know I've used it with a 40lbs 4yr old without any problems. I got it from Babies R Us last year and it was $70 or $80 I think.

The weight limit for the Tuscany is 37 pounds. Great stroller and ok for most people to get their kids close to 4 in a stroller, but not great for a kid who's already 35 pounds. I would look in to used maclarens which have the high 50 pound weight limits.
