How far to recline the vehicle seat for RF leg room?
I recently learned that my center 2nd row seat in the Sienna can recline. That's where DD is RF in her MA. I thought it'd be a great idea to recline the vehicle seat to give her more leg room. When I asked in my CPST course, all I was told was "well, the carseat does need to touch the back of the vehicle seat". Ok, very helpful How far would you recline the seat? When I reclined the vehicle seat, it didn't loosen my install at all, and the front of her MA is touching the vehicle seat. THese pics are with the seat reclined all the way (as far as it would go). [IMG] [/IMG]This doesn't look more reclined than the GN, but it is. THe GN is fully upright. [IMG] [/IMG]

Check the vehicle user manual... some say it's ok and some not.

Re: How far to recline the vehicle seat for RF leg room?
I believe the Sienna manual says 5 clicks for the 2nd row seats. Does anyone really count the clicks? I did once. But when I install the GN, I recline the seatback, install, and pull it upright. I'll have to go re-read the manual, see if it says anything different for RF.

Yep, check the vehicle manual.
