Ulrike- Thanks!

Don't know if you saw my reply, but I wanted to thank you for the Pooh software recommendation. I bought the Ready for Reading and Ready for Math pack. He loves it. When he isn't glued to it, he goes on and on about the things he did and printed... It has some sound stuttering problems, and at least one activity crashes the reading program, but I think it might be my sound card.

By the way, did you ever see my followup ideas on your ISP issues in the Feedback forum?

Wonderful!

Roman really does love his Pooh games (and Eva will stand behind him on the chair and watch him play for a long time, too). I think he's been playing the Preschool one for 9 months now, and he still hasn't completed all the levels or lost interest.

I looked, and the Blues Clues game we got cheap at Walmart is a reading oriented one, too. I think it was $5-ish, so if BC is a hit at your house, you may want to keep an eye out for it. We got it last winter, so they may not sell it anymore. It was just the CD in a plastic case with no cardboard box.

I saw your ISP suggestions, but DH wants to switch ISPs anyway ($250 internet bill last month! ), so hopefully THAT will solve all our problems.

I don't know what he did, but DH fixed the connection!

The board now loads flawlessly!

And, Wednesday, we're going to look into getting a DSL. It's expensive, but it's a heck of a lot expensive than payig for ISDN by the minute!!!

That's great!

Ironically, my computer is having all sorts of problems now. I finally had to do a fresh re-install of Windows. But now, if I install the Microsoft Internet Connection Sharing, my ISDN will no longer make a connection to my ISP. Ugh.

DSL and Cable still appear a long way off for our area, so I'm envious:-)
