Hi there!
This is just a fabulous board. I'm so happy that I was given the link. My name is Tamie, I'm a 32-year-old mom of three, and a newly certified CPS tech. I really enjoyed the course and have had the opportunity to check six or so seats at my children's preschool since my class in early December. I live in the Nashville area, and I'm hoping to help start a Safe Kids chapter here (there currently is none in the Nashville area.) My background is in journalism, and I became a CPS advocate after writing a story while pregnant with my third child. I look forward to learning from all of you! Tamie |

Congrats on your technician status- it's nice to see more and more parents get involved! I'm about the only one in my area who isn't affiliated with a local hospital, police, fire or health department. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help! Darren |
