Britax Frontier - New Print

Britax has had such a great response to the Frontier, that they just announced that they are introducing an additional color Sahara. These are to be ready to start shipping in just a few weeks so if you are interested, please let me know. The first production will be fairly limited.

Re: Britax Frontier - New Print

This looks like a cover that would match all the car interiors that Canyon already matches. I guess if someone really hates black, this choice is good. I wish we could get some variety, though...I'm so tired of Britax and all their boring colorblock choices for the Regent and Frontier.

And yes, as Julie said, not meaning to shoot the messenger. More choice is always a good thing.

Wow, it looks like a child emptied the contents of their stomach on to a Frontier. Double whammy, considering how tough those covers are to get off and clean..

That's what I want to know too! That's my main complaint of the seat is the stupid mesh! Not easily wiped clean like the plush ones!

But since I don't like the Sahara Regent, I'm going to say yuck to this one! And it's just more tan/gray/black!

Re: Britax Frontier - New Print

I'm not sure what the center material is going to be out of, but my guess is that it's going to be probably the same material as the others. When I saw the press release I wasn't too excited. It's pretty much the canyon with a lighter middle part. It seems like they've gone very, very conservative with their prints.

FYI .. got a better picture from britax and have updated it above. You can see a bit more detail of the center now ..

well not a thrilling choice I'll be an optimist and hope that this means that eventually there will be even more choices... some of them have got to be good right?

Yes, it's a good start!

And I'm keeping fingers crossed that the fabric is like the Regent Sahara. I don't care for that fabric either, but at least that would give me hope they'll come out with some other covers without that horrid mesh! But DS1 loves the red, so unless they come out with cowmoo (he like DS2's cowmoo MA!), I don't think he'd want to change!

Re: Britax Frontier - New Print

I think the fabric is the same as the Regent's Sahara = NO mesh!! I was just checking the fabric info on the Britax website and it shows exactly the same info as the Regent, which is different than the other Frontier covers! I can't wait to see if they come out with more non-mesh covers!!

Wait for it....

They retired the sahara regent. So there you go. All that excess Sahara fabric is being used for the new Frontier. Wooooooo.

I'm getting a Sahara regent cover as a backup, but Britax should REALLY have gotten the message by now. WE NEED MORE COLORS!

Re: Britax Frontier - New Print

Oddly enough, it has been a very hot color so far. I've sold out my entire first shipment of them before it's even hit the warehouse.

The big kids show is in 3 weeks, we're not expecting anything new from Britax ...

that's how i feel - is it actually popular or just that some people couldn't get a regent at BRU in any other coveR? not only do i think it's unattractive, i think the center material is scratchy and uncomfortable.

i guess it gives us hope that britax will offer more exciting frontiers in the future, though. i love the seat, but hate the covers!

But I have to wonder if people are just choosing it because it's now the only non-mesh one available! Though since I let my son pick, he still would have picked the mesh - because he could get a red seat!

Exactly! I'm sure a lot of people just go to BRU and buy what's there because they want it right away.
