YES!
Even in a minor crash, you still risk hidden damage or stress cracks. Many insurance companies will pay to replace the seats, and in some states it is required by law for the insurance company to pay. Good luck! |

Re: what if
I also recommend that the seat belts where an occupant was sitting and wearing the belt also be replaced. If your insurance has a problem with replacing the child safety seat then contact the child safety seat company. Most of these companies will provide a letter for your insurance company that states the child seat needs to be replaced. |
