When I lived in Germany, every vehicle was required to carry a First Aid Kit and a Warning Triangle. I still carry both in my vehicle! Kits like this are very compact, so they don't take up any space, and you won't regret having one when you need it!

Oh, that's interesting to know, Ulrike! Hmm... my birthday is coming up and I never have more than jumper cables and papertowels in my van...maybe it's something I need to put on my wishlist....
