WWYD?

Say you had a 28 pound 33 month old, who is currently RF'ing in an EFTA with about an inch of torso growth room RF'ing. We have already decided we are not buying another seat to keep her RF'ing longer. When she outgrows the EFTA, we're turning her FF.

Now, say you could get a REALLY good deal on a NIB Madison Regent.

Oops, I didn't realize this was in here. Feel free to move it, sorry.

Re: WWYD?

I would probably use the EFTA ffing when she outgrows it rfing and when she outgrows it completely, then get a regent or frontier or whatever.

Although she has a really long torso, doesn't she? So you would need the height of the regent over the Frontier.

Hmmm...I would probably still wait and hope to score a newer one at the Sept sale. I doubt they'd be gone by then even if they plan to discontinue - which from what I have read, it doesn't seem like they will right now.

Now that probably didn't help you at all, did it?

Re: WWYD?

The price I could get the Regent at now is much lower than the September sale. That's the only reason I am considering getting it now

Yes, I definitey want a Regent over a Frontier, if the Frontier really has as short of straps as they are reporting. The last time I tried her in the Regent was I think 3-4 months ago, and she would have been on the second from top slots. DH loves the Frontier though. Sheesh, now I have another option to consider lol.

Re: WWYD?

I like the regent for my boys, but feel it is too wide for my 3.5 yo yet. Maybe in another 6 months or so, she'll fill it out better, but right now her marathon is a better fit.

Will you pass the EFTA down to lil sis or does she have a different seat? I think she has a ma but it is soon to expire? Did you get an ra? I forget!

Re: WWYD?

Little sis has a Roundabout that will expire in 2 years She was using the MA in DH's car until we retired it.

If we get a Regent, the EFTA would go into DH's car She has about half an inch of FF growth in the Blvd, slightly less in the MA.

I just found these pictures for comparison. In four months she went from being just a hair over the bottom slots to being a hair over the second-from-bottom slots.
26 months

30 months
