Can I get tethers?

I may soon be driving a 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan (again). Can I get tethers retrofitted in this vehicle? If so, what is the service bulletin #? Thank you.

Re: Can I get tethers?

You sure can, and it's supposed to be free according to the LATCH manual's Dodge section listing the bulletin number and part numbers:

Quote:
Tether Anchor installation program: DaimlerChrysler dealers will install
tether anchors in certain older model year Chrysler Group vehicles free
of charge. Please have the dealer refer to Technical Service Bulletin 23-008-00 Rev. B for details on this policy.
The retrofit tether anchor part number is 05017529AB, and you can retrofit the center and driver's side positions in both the second and third rows (4 tether anchors total).

You might find it useful to print out the Dodge section from the LATCH manual to show the Dodge dealership's service dept. as a reference.
