3rd row anchors in mid-size SUV's
I want to know which mid-size SUV's have 3rd row seats with anchors. So far I have only found the Mercedes R and G series to have the anchors in the 3rd row. A salesman at a Volvo dealership told me no midsize SUV's have the anchors in the 3rd row and he didn't believe me when I told him the Mercedes did. |

Honda Pilot has three top tether anchors in the 3rd row.

My MIL's Durango has 2 tether anchors for the 3rd row seat (only seats two in that row). Others have said their Durangos don't have them though, so maybe it depends on which trim level or something. Her vehicle manual was quite specific about it though.

I believe the Subaru Tribeca has either 2 or 3 anchors in its third row. I had had the same question when I was car shopping and the Tribeca was one of my top choices.

I'm not completely sure about this, but I had a lot of time to play around in the Mazda showroom when I picked up my Mazda 5, and I think their SUVs had top-tethers all seating positions. I have no idea how useful that may be, though, as I couldn't tell you which ones were "mid-size" or even whether they were two-seater or three-seat third rows! I just remember being impressed by all the top-tether anchors I kept finding LOL!

The 2007+ (not sure on previous years) has top tethers in the third row for both seating positions.
