2003 Pontiac Vibe

Seatbelts
All seats have lap/shoulder belts with sliding latchplates and switchable retractors.

LATCH/Tethers
LATCH is available in both rear outboard seating positions. Borrowing is not allowed. There are three tether anchor positions for the rear seating positions, not to be confused with the cargo hooks. A rearfacing seat can be tethered by looping the D-ring around the leg of either front seat. This won't interfere with the seat sliding back and forth.

Rearfacing tether

Tether locations behind backseat (tether hooks are under the open doors)

Airbags
There is an airbag for the front seat passenger which cannot be deactivated. Side airbags were an optional feature; if the car has them there will be a label on the side of the front passenger seat.

Re: 2003 Pontiac Vibe

Britax Marathon gets a good install in either the center or outboard positions. One pool noodle gave a satisfactory recline for RF.
