Question Diono Radian in 2012 Civic

Hello!

Does anyone know if Diono will fit rear facing on 2012 civic?

We don't want to risk buying one and will not fit perfectly and safely.

It will! I have a 2006 Civic and my friend has a 2013 Civic. Both cars fit the Radian well (both with and without the angle adjuster).

I had a 2011 Civic and it fit great. Did require the front seat to move pretty far forward, though the angle adjuster helped a lot.

Thank you for the input. We are having hard time of choosing a convertible for our 2012 civic. I love diono but is it really heavy for the seat and wn't damage it if installed for a long time? Diono can't be installed in the middle seat in civic right? I heard that britax is also good but I think it's more wider than the diono. Really need some help to decide between diono and britax.

You can install the Diono in the center of the Civic, but you need to use the seatbelt rather than the lower anchors. I don't find it to be a big deal. I currently have one installed (with angle adjuster) in the center of my 2014 Civic, and I have room for my two other kids, too.

If you need the extra seating back there, the Diono is probably the way to go. If you don't, a wider convertible like the Britax would be fine. It's really a matter of preference.

Child restraints rarely cause lasting damage to vehicle seats. Sometimes they might dent the leather, but the dents usually pop out in time.
