Bringing Home Baby

Today's episode of Bringing Home Baby, with baby Jackson, had some carseat errors.

The parents admitted that they were having great difficulty with the carseat, but they didn't say anything about the aftermarket cover on their Peg Perego Primo Viaggio. They had a blue striped aftermarket cover that looked VERY fluffy.

Re: Bringing Home Baby

I hate when shows like BHB or Baby Story show the kids in carseats. I don't know that I've ever seen them used appropriately. I have written to TLC, but never got a response.

Re: Bringing Home Baby

I agree.

I had such high hopes when I saw one episode where the parents had put rolled-up blankets in the seat to hold up the baby's head. IT looked so promising! But then I was let down...

Re: Bringing Home Baby

I hate that show, for that reason and many others. They have showed 1 correct car seat usage ever. The parents somehow seem to think that the harness straps go AROUND the headrest instead of through the slots in it(umm, duh. look at hte pic. on the box/package and you can see how to do it right!).

I just hate that show all together.

Re: Bringing Home Baby

I hate that show because the new moms are always given BAD BAD BAD breastfeeding advice and 9/10 give up in a couple weeks and go to formula. I am screaming at them through the TV! lol and now that I am so tuned into car seat safety I have another reason to yell at my tv! lol So I just dont wach (much) anymore. Raises my blood pressure.

Re: Bringing Home Baby

I use to LOVE those types of shows when I was pregnant....now I can't stand them. I usually end up yelling at the TV like bethng.
