AB 881 is still making its way through the system. It would increase the booster age from 6 years and 6 pounds to 8 years old unless the child is 4' 9". I just checked on the status yesterday and a senate committee amended the effective date to be June 30, 2008 (before it read January 1, 2009). So Yay!

Hopefully Arnie doesn't veto it this time when it gets to his desk.
