Publix Super Markets is issuing a voluntary recall for spinach dip because it may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes. The spinach dip was sold in Publix grocery stores in Florida (does not include the following Florida counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee).

Tyson Fresh Meats Inc., an Emporia, Kan. establishment, is recalling approximately 131,300 pounds of 73% Lean ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. 5-pound chubs of Kroger-brand were shipped to distribution centers in Ind. and Tenn. for retail sale. 3-pound chubs of Butcher’s Brand were shipped to distribution centers in N.C. and S.C. for retail sale. 3-pound chubs of a generic label were shipped to distribution centers in Del., Fla., Ga., Md., Ill., Ind., Mo., N.Y., Ohio, Tenn., Texas and Wis. for retail sale.

Andrew Williamson Fresh Produce is voluntarily recalling one lot of organic grape tomatoes sold under the Limited Edition® and Fresh & Easy labels due to a possible health risk from Salmonella. The organic grape tomatoes were distributed to all states in the US and two Canadian Provinces (British Columbia, Ontario).

True Leaf Farms is voluntarily recalling 90 cartons of chopped or shredded romaine because of the potential of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled product was shipped between September 12 and 13 to an institutional food service distributor in Oregon who further distributed it to at least two additional states, Washington and Idaho.
