Tech ?'s-Infant Pads from Decathlon

Share |

Would you feel comfortable using the infant pads (most especially the head pad part) from a Decathlon on a Fisher Price SVD? The FPSVD was essentially the same seat as the Decathlon, and it came w/a head pad that attached to the harness and was almost the same as the infant head pad that came on the Decathlon...

I know...the technical answer is no...

Thanks for your thoughts!

Nevermind, I re-read what you wrote. I would have no qualms about using it but that's me personally. I have a decathlon cover an FP seat, without the pillow and headrest thingy only because my niece doesn't need it. The holes all line up the same on the cover and shell so I don't see a problem with it.

Kate,

That's kinda what I was thinking myself. LOL Although, I wouldn't recommend someone else do it. It just so happens that my little niece has our FPSVD, also w/the Decathlon cover on it! She doesn't really "need" the other pieces at all, but they are taking a long trip next week, and I thought a head pillow might be nice on an 8 hr drive!

I just can't imagine that it wouldn't be okay since it is exactly the same seat shell, without lockoffs or a 65 lbs weight limit w/HUGS requirement.
